FAQ

Q. I wasn't too keen on school. The thought of returning puts me off.
A. Classes are very informal and all our tutors are very friendly and approachable. The social aspect of being a member of WASP is a bonus.

********

Q. I've seen a class I'm interested in, but I can't attend the first week.
A. It's not a problem. Many students are unable to attend the odd class due to family commitments, illness or holidays. If you can, let us know beforehand if you won't be attending. We also ask you let us know if circumstances mean you won't be continuing with your class.

********

Q. Do I have to pay the £6.50 Registration Fee for each class I attend ?

A. No. The Fee is your payment for membership of WASP regardless of how many classes you attend. All Registration Fees expire at the end of June regardless of whether you sign up in September or the following February. The Registration Fee is payable by all students.

********

Q. I would like to attend 2 or 3 of these classes, but I have two young children and no one to watch them for me.
A. WASP has its own Créche room and selected daytime classes offer a creche facility. If you are interested in a class but require childcare please contact the office to find out if your chosen class offers creche. Please note that we require a minimum number of children for the creche to run.

Q. The two classes I'd like to do are on the same day. The first class finishes at 12 noon and the second starts at 1.00pm. is there anywhere I could go to have something to eat ?
A. Yes, WASP has its own Adult Lounge. There are tea & coffee making facilities at a charge of 25p per cup and there is also a microwave and fridge. Students are welcome to bring something to eat with them and wait there until their next class.

********

Q. I'm not sure if I should sign up.
A. Go on it'll probably be one of the best decisions you'll make.
